On 29 November 1993 the first minibus full of immigration detainees arrived at Campsfield from Harmondsworth. Since then over 25,000 people have been imprisoned there without charge, time limit or proper reasons given, under the 1971 Immigration Act.

Join in a weekend of events to mark 20 years of resistance to
arbitrary detention and to plan future actions!

Saturday 30th 12 noon demonstration Campsfield

4-7pm open space/workshops/stalls: former detainees, Europe, charter
flights, film Tasting Freedom on Campsfield detainees’ campaigning, followed by meal, social

Sunday 31st 11-3 open space/workshops/stalls continue: future actions to end immigration detention, at Turl Street Kitchen OX1 3DQ
